You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

What is the course time limit? Is it walker-friendly?

We want to accommodate all levels of runners, so we’re excited to offer a course time limit of 7 hours and 45 minutes. This is a run/walk pace of at least 17 minutes and 45 seconds per mile.

We’ll have designated course cutoff locations which will be communicated closer to the race, so participants can see what time they will need to be at specific locations throughout the course. We’ll also have pace team members to help support participants walking at this pace. Our team will accommodate you as best we can to make sure you’re able to complete the marathon. You will still receive a medal even if there are sections of the course you do not complete due to the course cutoff locations and the timeline.

Will there be shuttles to the start line?

We’ll be offering participants shuttles from the Scottsdale Old Town area to WestWorld for the start of the race. Or, if you prefer to park at WestWorld, we’ll have shuttles running from the finish line in Old Town to WestWorld throughout the day. You’ll get more details soon, but know that we’ve got you covered!

What nutrition and hydration will be offered on the course?

We will be offering nutrition and hydration on the course to support you! Aid stations will be located approximately every 1.5-2.5 miles, stocked with varying products which will be announced at a later date.

Will there be pacers on the course?

Yes, we will have pace groups to support runners at every level! Information about our official pace team and times offered will be communicated over the Summer.

Do I have to run the whole course?

We are a walking-friendly event—we just ask that you can walk at least a 17:45 min mile.
