From the Every Woman’s Marathon Start Line to the Finish Festival, plus road closures and transport tips, this is your guide to getting around Scottsdale on race weekend.

WELLNESS FAIR & EXPO

The Wellness Fair & Expo will take place in Old Town Scottsdale at the Scottsdale Civic Center (7380 E. 2nd St.).

Parking

There are many free parking garages around the Old Town area. The closest garages to the Civic Center are:

  • Civic Center Lot and Garage – 3888 N Wells Fargo Ave
  • Civic Center Library Garage – 3803 N Drinkwater Blvd (Access to the Expo will be from the middle/second level of the Library Garage)
  • Old Town Parking Corral – 3806 N Brown Ave
  • Pepperwood Lot – 7319 E 1st Ave

Ride Share Drop-Off & Pick-Up

The designated drop-off and pick-up location for the Expo will be at 7319 E 1st Avenue

START LINE

The Every Woman’s Marathon race will start at WestWorld of Scottsdale. There are three options for getting to the Start Line, see below.

Shuttles

Free shuttles to the Start Line will be available for registered participants. Participants can purchase up to two additional shuttle passes for family and friends.

All shuttle passes must be reserved and purchased through Run Signup by Thursday, November 6.

Race Morning Shuttle Details
  • Shuttle passes will be delivered digitally on race week and must be shown to board race morning. Family and friends must ride with their registered participant. 

  • Shuttles will run from 5:15am to 6:00am. All riders must be on a shuttle by 6:00am. 

  • Shuttle pickup will be in Old Town Scottsdale, at 2nd St & Marshall Way.
  • This is within walking distance of select hotels and there are many free parking garages around the area.
  • If you are being dropped off, please plan to be dropped at 7223 E 2nd St.
  • Please use caution when walking to the shuttle pickup location.
  • On race day, roads in and around Old Town will be closed for the course. Please review all closures and plan your travel accordingly see below.

Family and friends will be allowed to take return shuttles from the Start Line back to Old Town after the start of the race. Return shuttles will board in the same location where you are dropped off at WestWorld, at the southeast corner of the large white tent and will leave at 8:00am. 

Parking & Return Shuttles

There is ample free parking at WestWorld for participants and spectators. Anyone parking at WestWorld must approach from the north of WestWorld on Bell Rd, using 94th Street. All other entrances to WestWorld will be blocked for the race. To park, drive down 94th Street towards WestWorld Way, where you will be instructed to park in the designated parking spaces.

Cars can be parked at WestWorld until 8:00pm on race day, November 16.

Return Shuttles to WestWorld
  • Return shuttles will run every half hour, on the hour and half hour, between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
  • Return shuttle pickup will be in Old Town Scottsdale, at 2nd St & Marshall Way. Please use caution when walking to the shuttle pickup location.
  • No shuttle passes are needed to take the return shuttles to WestWorld.
Ride Share Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Anyone being dropped off at WestWorld must approach from the north of WestWorld, using 94th street. All other entrances to WestWorld will be blocked for the race.

Drive down 94th Street towards WestWorld Way, where you will be instructed where to be dropped.

FINISH FESTIVAL

The Every Woman’s Marathon race will finish in Old Town Scottsdale, with the Finish Festival taking place at the Scottsdale Civic Center (7380 E. 2nd St). On race day, roads in and around Old Town will be closed for the course. Please review all closures and plan your travel accordingly.

Scottsdale's transit system offers a variety of services.

The Scottsdale Trolley offers 3 fare-free fixed routes and connections to 9 regional-fare bus routes. Scottsdale's paratransit services offer a variety of alternatives including CAB Connection, Valley Metro's Paratransit Service and Ride Choice. See here for additional information.
