Eligibility. You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and legally residing in the United States at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers and directors of the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board (“MilkPEP”), its advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members residing in the same household with any such employees are not eligible to enter or to win.

Sponsor. The Every Woman’s Marathon Challenge (“Challenge”) is sponsored by the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board (“MilkPEP”), with its principal place of business located at 1250 H Street Northwest, Suite 950, Washington, District of Columbia 20005.

Challenge Period. The Challenge shall be from November 16, 2024, at 12:01am until November 16, 2024, at 11:59pm. in the Participant’s local time zone (the “Challenge Period”). The sole determinant of time for the Challenge Period will be the Participant’s local time zone as indicated by the Strava app. Participants entering close to the posted end date for the Challenge Period do so with this in mind.

Prize; Odds of Winning. Participants who comply with the entry requirements set forth in Section 5 will be eligible to win an Every Woman’s Marathon-branded item (“Prize”) (approximate retail value per Prize is $25.00). Twenty-Five (25) Prize winners will be selected by random drawing. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. All Prizes are awarded “as is.” Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for another prize. Participation in the Challenge and/or acceptance of a Prize shall constitute your agreement to these Official Rules. Limit one (1) Prize per person. Taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant.

How to Enter. During the Challenge Period, Strava account holders in the United States may enter by joining the Every Woman’s Marathon Virtual Race on Strava and completing a cumulative 26.2-mile run or walk during the Challenge Period (the “Challenge”). Activities logged during the Challenge Period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three (3) days after the Challenge Period ends. As an alternative method of entry, the Sweepstakes may be entered by mailing a postcard addressed to: MilkPEP (ATTN: EWM Virtual Race Sweepstakes Entry) at 1250 H Street Northwest, Suite 950, Washington, District of Columbia 20005. The postcard must include the Entrant’s first and last name, email address, telephone number and mailing address so that they can be notified if selected as Winner. Postcards must be postmarked on or before November 19, 2024. Individuals are limited to one (1) entry regardless of their method of entry.

Notification to Winner; Claiming the Prize. Winners will receive a direct message with instructions as to how to claim the Prize via email to the email address associated with their Strava account or provided in their postcard entry. Failure to timely redeem the Prize in accordance with instructions from Sponsor shall result in forfeiture of Prize.

Binding Rules. By entering the Challenge, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Participants further agree to be bound by the decisions of MilkPEP, which shall be final and binding in all respects. MilkPEP reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Website; or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MilkPEP, and its respective officers, consultants, agents and employees against and from all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses asserted by third parties against MilkPEP as a direct result of your actions in connection with the Challenge. You further agree to not knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Challenge or to prevent others’ participation in the Challenge.

By participating in this Challenge, you agree you are doing so at your own risk and will exercise within your own capabilities. Participants and winners assume liability for losses or injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Challenge, or by the acceptance, possession, use of or failure to receive any Prize. MilkPEP is not responsible: (i) for any lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries; or (ii) for any incorrect or inaccurate information in these Official Rules or for any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the Challenge. MilkPEP assumes no responsibility for an error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction of authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. MilkPEP is not responsible for any technical problems or technical malfunction arising from computing equipment or software. If the Challenge is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including legal restrictions, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of MilkPEP that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Challenge, MilkPEP reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Challenge.

This Challenge is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. You understand that your Participation in this Challenge shall constitute your agreement to MilkPEP’s Privacy Policy (https://milkpep.org/privacy-policy/) and Terms and Conditions (https://milkpep.org/terms-and-conditions/).
