GETTING HERE

The most convenient airport to fly into is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), located about 15 miles from downtown New Orleans.

Rail and road travel are also good options. Amtrak connects the city to many major hubs, and millions of visitors drive in each year.

Getting around New Orleans without a car is easy. Uber, Lyft and cabs are widely available. The city’s public transportation system consists of streetcars, buses and ferries. There’s no shortage of ways to get around NOLA!
