GETTING RACE-READY
Plan ahead with confidence so you can focus on the run (and fun)!
what to bring
All participants should have their bibs visible and pinned to the front of their shirt.
For safety purposes, all participants should keep their IDs on them throughout race day (on-course and at the Finish Festival).
Water, electrolytes and gels will be provided on-course, but it is recommended to bring whatever fuel and hydration you’ve been training with.
For information about what you can bring on race day, please check our Allowable and Prohibited Items page.
Parking and Transit
Plan ahead for race weekend! Visit our Parking and Transit page to plan your travel accordingly. You can learn more about road closures in our Event Guide.
Safety and Security
Safety is a top priority for Every Woman’s Marathon organizers, state and city agencies and law enforcement partners. Visit our Safety and Security page to learn more about policies and procedures that will be in place to ensure the health and safety of our runners, volunteers, staff and spectators.
restrooms
There will be plenty of clean restrooms at the start, along the course and at the Finish Line and festival, all stocked with essential items such as Band-Aids, hair ties, feminine products and more! Restrooms will be at each water station along the course—keep an eye out for our luxury restrooms on the course, at Mile 5.6, Mile 14 and Mile 20. See our Start Line Map and Finish Line Map for details on where restrooms will be located at each location.
medical
On race day, HonorHealth will be right there with you from start to finish. Along the course, you’ll find basic first-aid stations staffed by experts ready to step in if you need support. At the finish line, the team will be there to provide additional help with refueling and recovery—so you can focus on celebrating every mile you’ve conquered.
If you or another participant needs assistance on course, call 911 in the event of an emergency. For non-emergencies, ask a nearby runner, volunteer or staff member to notify the next medical tent. Please provide as much detail as possible, including the participant’s bib number and exact location.
Check out our Start Line Map, Course Map, Finish Line Map and Finish Festival Map for details on where the medical tents will be located on race day.
Lactation support
We will have designated lactation tents at the Start Line, on-course (approximately mile 14) and at the Finish Festival.
For All Mothers will be at each tent to support you! Each tent will include a chair, table, sanitation supplies and breast pumps. Every Woman’s Marathon will not be storing or transporting any breast milk.
timing
The Every Woman’s Marathon timing system is provided by Laurel Innovation. All runners will receive a bib with the timing tag affixed to the back. Nothing is required of the participant to activate the timing. Please ensure the following to receive an accurate time:
- Race bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Race bib is unaltered and unmodified (do not fold or wrinkle)
- Race bib is pinned on all four corners
- Race bib is not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)
